Stop an unnamed road beside Luggate-Cromwell Highway

Central Otago District Council invites public objections to stopping a 1.1330-hectare unnamed road beside Luggate-Cromwell Highway and transferring the land to the adjoining owner.

The council proposes to stop the unnamed road adjoining Sections 64 and 65, Block IV, Wakefield Survey District, beside Luggate-Cromwell Highway.

The notice identifies an area of 1.1330 hectares. Once stopped, the road land would be transferred to the adjoining owner and amalgamated with the land in record of title OT10B/1452.

The proposal is shown on SO Plan 616646, which can be inspected at the council office at 43 The Mall, Cromwell, during normal office hours.

Lodge an objection in writing addressed to Tiana Prudden at The Property Group Limited, PO Box 349, Queenstown 9348. Identify the unnamed road beside Luggate-Cromwell Highway and explain the reasons for your objection. The notice requires objections on or before 4pm on Wednesday 18 November 2026. It does not provide an email submission address.

The proposal would stop the identified road and transfer that land to the adjoining owner.

The notice gives the public an opportunity to object before the proposal proceeds.
